Day 1

Start your tour by driving to Aswan which located 180 km south of Luxor , Once you arrive you will visit Philae Temple which is located now on a new location Agilkia Island , It was moved from Philae island to the new location as a part of the UNESCO Nubia Campaign project , protecting this and other complexes before the 1970 completion of the Aswan High dam ,

Philae Temple was dedicated to the goddess Isis ,  also has a shrine to the goddess Hat-hor the great temple was built by the Ptolemy Philadelphus ll which built over the ruins of the old temples built by Nectanebo l , Once you finish you will take a motor boat to the Nubian Village you will be hosted in one of the Nubian local houses , Try the Nubian food and enjoy the cheerful colored houses which give a positive energy , Then cross the River Nile and drive to your hotel to overnight in Aswan

 

Day 2

Early morning around 3:30 AM drive to Abu Simbel Temple which located 230km about 3 hours by the Car

Start by visiting Abu Simbel twin temples which originally carved out the mountainside in the 13th century BC during the 19th dynasty reign of the Pharaoh Ramesses ll . They serve as a lasting monument to the king and his queen Nefertari , It was submerged under the water of Nasser Lake After the High Dam was built so The UNESCO co-operated with the Egyptian government to move it on an artificial hill .

This temple which known as the temple of Ramessess beloved by Amun which dedicated to the most famous gods Ptah , Re-Her-Akhtey , Amun-Re and to Ramessess second himself . The small temple of Nefertari is called Temple of Hathor who was the wife of the Sun God so in a symbolic way

After finishing on the way to Aswan stop to visit the High Dam which built between 1960 – 1970 , It is 111 meters high

Then you will visit the unfinished obelisk which is the largest known ancient obelisk and is located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt in Aswan , Egypt

Finally Get your lunch at a good quality local restaurant then drive back to Luxor.
